When an NFL player and his bride choose one of Manhattan’s most iconic rooftop venues, you know the resulting painting will be extraordinary. Setting up my easel at 620 Loft & Garden, with St. Patrick’s Cathedral’s Gothic spires creating a dramatic backdrop, I prepared to capture Hope and Tommy Tremble’s intimate modern celebration.

The November sky reflected perfectly in the venue’s signature pool, while Birch Event Design’s sophisticated white florals transformed the space into an elevated garden party. The guests, dressed in varying shades of green at the couple’s request, created a living color palette that complemented the manicured topiaries and Manhattan skyline.

What made this piece particularly special was capturing the bride’s stunning Galia Lahav Opéra gown – its nine-foot French guipure lace train creating elegant movement across the canvas. The modern, monochromatic design scheme of ivory, gold, and taupe provided perfect contrast against the architectural landscape of Fifth Avenue.
