Love Notes & Paint Strokes: School of Rock Romance at Park Chateau

When former School of Rock cast members Caitlin and Angelo asked me to capture their wedding day in paint, I knew this would be a unique celebration blending Hollywood history with real-life romance. Our initial meeting revealed their vision for a day that would honor both their artistic roots and elegant Park Chateau setting.

Setting up my easel at Park Chateau, I was immediately struck by the grandeur of the space. The venue’s elegant architecture provided a stunning backdrop for their celebration, while their personal touches transformed it into an intimate gathering of close friends and family – including their original “band members” from the film!

The scene was a painter’s dream – Caitlin was radiant in her Berta gown and statement boots (a detail I loved incorporating into the painting), while Angelo looked dashing in his Cad & The Dandy suit. Bespoke Floral’s arrangements added rich depth and texture to the composition. As the evening progressed, Elite Sound and Saxman Art created an incredible atmosphere that you could almost feel through the canvas.

This wedding was particularly special as it marked our first event offering guest portraits! Having my artist friends join me to create watercolor portraits of guests added another layer of artistic energy to the celebration. Seeing everyone’s excitement as they received their portraits made the evening even more memorable.
